In March a new food collection point was set up in Meadowview Ward at Thurrock Hospital, Long Lane, Grays. It was set up by ward clerk Karina Gittleson, housekeeper Kelly Polley and support worker Tracy Hart. Since March 243kg of food has been collected which is great. Huge thanks to Karina, Kelly and Tracy setting it up and promoting it round the hospital site. The collection point is in the reception of Meadowview ward and open 24 hours a day for donations from staff and visitors.
