Many people in Thurrock have been donating food to the foodbank although with the impact of the COVID-19 virus this has often been difficult. The North Stifford Womens’ Institute have now, on two occasions, organised for their members to deliver food to a gazebo in a front garden. The most recent collection was on 12th August and resulted in 10 packed crates of food. An excellent result – many thanks ladies!
