We have a four events coming up in the last few months of 2018
On Friday 9 November there is going to be a concert by CDOT in Socketts Heath Baptist church. Please come along to hear a variety of music by our local choir – CDOT. All money raised will be going towards supporting Thurrock Foodbank. Please contact [email protected] for more info and tickets.
Then on Saturday 17 November we are having another Sausage Sizzle in Homebase in Basildon, please come along and buy your traditional Australian sausage sandwich from us. We will be serving from 9:00. All proceeds again will be going towards supporting your local foodbank
Next on Thursday 29 November, Friday 30 November and Saturday 1 December we will be collecting food at Tescos Lakeside in our annual Christmas food collection. We will be there from 9:00 – 17:00 on all three days. If you have a couple of hours free please consider coming along to volunteer with us. The more volunteers we have handing out shopping lists to Tescos shoppers the more food we collect, and as we rely on donated food to help Thurrock people in crisis.
Finally on Saturday 8 December we are having a stall at the Orsett Christmas Fayre. For the week prior to this event we will be collecting food around the village. Keep an eye on this page to see where the collection points will be. We will also be collecting donations of food and money during the Fayre.
It would be great to meet some of our supporters at one, or all, of these events.
