Yes I know it ages away ….but please look in your diaries and see if you can spare a couple of hours over that period and if you can make a non binding provisional offer to volunteer
#thurrockfoodbank are looking for individuals, friends and colleagues to volunteer for a two hour slot on any of those days.
There will be someone from the Thurrock Foodbank there to answer any customers questions. But we need YOU to hand out leaflets, accept food donations and generally make people aware of the items we are in need of.
We already have the lovely young men shown below signed up again this year – they were amazing at our last one and really boosted donations.
Perhaps do it as a work team event (if you ask they may even let you do it on Thursday instead of going to work) or come as a family group – it’s never too early for children to appreciate the diffference they can make to people’s lives by volunteering
