New thoughts on Sugar at the foodbank

15th November 2016

As time has gone by, we in Thurrock and the Trussell Trust have found that people are trying to eat more healthily and less people are taking sugar, so the decision has been made not to put sugar in our food boxes in the New Year. We will still have sugar available at our Distribution Centres for those clients who like to use it. As our need for sugar will reduce we are asking our regular donors to donate food other than sugar. Thank you in advance for your help with this.
